With years of personal experience in relocations and renovations, Rachel became well versed in all aspects of real estate from an early age. With a background in Urban Planning and a love of helping people, Rachel decided to combine her passions and her expertise to become a professional Realtor in 2022. She joined RE/MAX Escarpment Realty and The Borondy Group in 2024 and brings to our clients the same dedication, insights and enthusiasm that people have come to rely on.
Rachel grew up in Waterloo Region, and is now a proud and active resident of Hamilton, and serves clients across these two growing regions. Her formal journey into real estate is rooted in a strong foundation, with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo and professional roles as a Planning Consultant and Development Manager. This background equips her with a unique perspective on market trends, property development, and community planning, allowing her to provide insightful advice to Borondy Group clients.
She is passionate about helping individuals, families and investors navigate the home-buying, selling and leasing processes with confidence and care. From helping to educate first time home buyers to strategizing with families wanting to invest in property for their future retirement fund, and to being the patient and supportive person needed to help seniors make the difficult decision to downsize, Rachel truly cares about her clients and making the process as stress-free as possible.
Outside of real estate, she enjoys staying active through trail running, city and nature walks, capturing moments through photography, supporting local shops and cafes, and exploring her love of cooking and baking. Most importantly, she thrives on making people smile and creating meaningful connections with people and her community.
